Bethany Apartments: Apartment Repair & Maintenance Team
Volunteers Needed 10
Put your handy skills to work helping prepare apartments for families. Volunteers will compete minor repairs and maintenance projects such as patching and painting walls, installing curtain rods and shelving, replacing hardware, completing basic plumbing repairs, and addressing general maintenance needs to ensure apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.

DeKoven Center: Historic Garden Volunteers
Volunteers Needed: 10
Volunteers will assist with weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, and other seasonal garden maintenance alongside the Center's gardener. Your efforts will help maintain a welcome and beautiful outdoor space for visitors and the community.
Must be 16+

John 23 Education Center: Front Landscape Installation
Volunteers Needed: 8
Assist with landscaping the front of the building by preparing garden beds, digging, planting shrubs and flowers, and helping bring the landscaping plan to life. Your efforts will help create and inviting space for everyone who visits.
Must be 18+

Bring new life to the Born Learning Trail! Volunteers will refresh painted activity stations along the trail, helping restore this interactive learning space that encourages children and caregivers to learn, play and explore together.

Racine Family YMCA: Bray Center Community Room Refresh and Organization
Volunteers Needed: 6
Volunteers will organize program materials and supplies, declutter storage areas, complete light cleaning and arrange furniture to refresh two community rooms for upcoming programs, meetings and events. Your efforts will help staff provide a more efficient and inviting space for the community.

Racine Zoo: Gardening and Jack O'Lantern Nights Set-Up
Volunteers Needed: 9
Help prepare the zoo for one of its most popular events! Volunteers will assist with seasonal gardening and beatification projects while also helping set up for Jack O'Lantern Nights. Tasks may include weeding, planting, decorating, setting up event displays, and other outdoor preparations.
Must be 18+

River Bend Nature Center: Trail & Grounds Maintenance
Volunteers Needed: 5
Volunteers will assisit with general trail and grounds maintenance, including spreading wood chips, removing invasive species, splitting and moving firewood, and other outdoor improvment projects. Your efforts will help keep trails safe and welcoming while protecint natural habitats.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Women's Resource Center: Facility Refresh
Volunteers Needed: 15
Create a safe and welcoming environment for those served by the Women's Resource Center. Volunteers will assist with indoor and outdoor improvement projects, including deep cleaning, painting, organizing living spaces, landscaping, and general property beatification. Your efforts will help ensure the facility is clean, comfortable, and ready to support those seeking safety and services.

Volunteers Needed: 0
Create a warm welcome for families transitioning into stable housing. Volunteers will prepare apartments for move-in by assembling furniture, setting up bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, organizing donated household items, stocking welcome baskets, and completing light cleaning. Your efforts will help ensure families arrive at a safe, comfortable, and fully furnished home.

Volunteers Needed: 5
Help support RFC members express their creativity through a fun, hands-on activity! Volunteers will assist members as they decorate festive masks using colorful craft materials such as feathers, gems, glitter, ribbons, markers, and paint. This activity encourages creativity, self-expression, and social connection.

Women's Resource Center

Create a welcoming outdoor environment for families by improving the property's landscaping and community spaces. Volunteers will weed, spread mulch, plant flowers, clean outdoor areas, maintain the community garden, and enhance gathering spaces with planters and seasonal touches.

Burlington Senior Center: Fall Garden Clean-Up
Volunteers Needed: 10
Prepare the Burlington Senior Center's vegetable garden for the season ahead! Volunteers will assist with cleaning garden beds, removing plants and debris, pulling weeds, and general garden clean-up. Your efforts will help keep the garden healthy and ready for future planting
Children under 18 must have adult supervision.
