United Way’s Equity Through Technology Fund is again accepting applications for equity-based technology projects

Collaboration with Microsoft continues to help address disparities through technology

Feb. 4, 2025 (Racine, WI) — United Way of Racine County is pleased to announce that the Equity Through Technology Fund is again accepting applications for technology projects that aim to increase equity or reduce disparities.

The Equity Through Technology Fund, a collaboration with Microsoft, first launched in December 2023. Twelve projects received funding, serving 638 Racine County residents to date.

President and CEO of United Way of Racine County Ali Haigh expressed excitement over the opportunities this fund will provide.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this second round of funding through the Equity Through Technology Fund, in collaboration with Microsoft,” she said. “This initiative reflects our continued commitment to reducing barriers to technology access and ensuring all members of our community have the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.”
